Moderation & Mod Logs

Ram Bot’s moderation module gives staff slash commands plus structured logging so every warn, ban, kick, and timeout is traceable.

Mod commands

Staff with the right Discord permissions can use slash commands such as warn, kick, ban, timeout, and case lookup (exact names appear when you type / in Discord).

Mod logs

Configure channels for each action type or use one global fallback:

• Warns, bans, kicks, timeouts
• AutoMod and honeypot triggers
• Optional case IDs for appeals

Dashboard setup

1. Enable the Mod plugin.
2. Open Moderation for your server.
3. Pick log channels staff can read but members cannot.
4. Assign staff roles if your server uses role-based command access.

Best practices

• Keep a private mod-only channel for sensitive cases.
• Document your escalation policy (warn → timeout → ban).
• Pair with Ram AutoMod for automated first responses.
