Reaction Roles & Self Roles

Let members self-assign roles by reacting to a panel message or using button menus — great for colors, pings, and game tags.

Reaction roles

1. Enable Reactions/Self Roles on Plugins.
2. Open Reaction Roles in the dashboard (or use /react / /reactbutton).
3. Post an emoji, button, or select-menu panel and map roles.
4. Ensure Ram Bot can manage those roles (role hierarchy).

Best practices

• Limit ping roles so members do not stack @everyone-level access.
• Use exclusive roles when only one color tag should apply.
• Keep the panel message pinned and link it in rules.
