Welcome & Goodbye Messages

Greet new members and acknowledge departures with customizable welcome and goodbye messages.

Welcome messages

Enable Welcomes on the Plugins page.
Open Welcome settings — pick channel, message text or embed.
Optional: ping a role, attach an image, or link rules channel.

Goodbye messages

Enable Byes and configure a separate channel or the same channel as welcomes. Keep goodbye text short — members who leave rarely see it, but staff logs may still reference it.

Welcome roles

Some servers assign a default member role on join. Configure role rules in welcome settings and ensure Ram Bot’s role is above the roles it assigns.

Test with an alt account or staff test join — verify the bot can post in the welcome channel.
